2月5日 I am 1000 years old...H E L L O W O R L D
I am an author and psychologist with master degree. I am an only child and I have no child either. I learned read and write, before I went to primary school. My toys were pencils and some piece of papers, whatever I found. Colors and words were only my world... But I was an average student all my educational life.
I was an ugly duck. So, I went to a model school while high school years. I finished that model school with first degree. But I was so shy and runned away at my first fashion show's backstage.
In primary school and high school, I was writing some stories.
Between high school and university, I worked in the army for a few years. I was using good language and worked some document control department at Presidency of General Staff. But after the 1980 military revolution, I resigned from the military and went to university.
I went to Ankara University Psychology department. After this, went to Hacettepe University Psychological Counseling department for master degree.
While I go to Ankara University, I began to join some competitions with my writings. I won more or less 20 prizes in that competitions. Some of them are about radio plays, theater plays, scenarios (for TV and movie), stories, essays, utopia, memory and reporting. Most of the prizes were written in a very small room, actually kitchen, about a few square meters.
My first book was a story book, named Kanatsız Düşüşler (Falling Without Wings). Second book is about daily for children, named Elif Oya'nın Güncesi (Elif Oya's Daily). Third book is a novel, named Terk Edilmiş Sokakta Sessiz Bir Gölge Oyunu (A Voiceless Shadow Play at Leaved Street). Fourth book is a biography of a poet named Attila Ilhan. It name is Yalnız Şövalye (Lonely Knight). And my two theater plays was published either. One of them is Durgun Suların Altında (Under the Unflowing Waters); the other one is Orkide'nin Ömrü (Orchid's Life).
I think, I may say some academical workings also here. My license thesis about Rorschach Test and master thesis about suicides.
I wrote so many radio and theater plays. I have a documentary about South East Anatolia. I wrote some educational scenarios for TV also.
1990-1991 Cumhuriyet daily paper reporting prize is given to me. So, I was a journalist for a while. I worked at all big newspapers and reviews in Turkey. Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, Hürriyet, Sabah and Radikal is some of them.
I was a critic for a while... and director also... Well, what happened then?.. Guess what... Now I am a simple psychologist... It is hard to explain, I am waiting for Godot more than 10 years. Best of all, now I am trying to remember English again and trying to write a novel named "7". I already wrote about 160 pages. I hope, I can finish.
